Description
The City of Port Arthur is soliciting bids for construction and installation of a traffic signal at the intersection of Stillwell and Proctor. The scope includes traffic signal poles and foundations, controller equipment and cabinet, conduit, electrical conductors and signal cable, service equipment, grounding, pedestrian signal poles and push buttons, pedestrian countdown signals, vehicle signal heads, backplates, preemption equipment, and street-name and regulatory signs. Bidders must submit the prescribed bid documents, bid security, required certifications and affidavits, and an acknowledgment of all addenda. The bid package also requires duplicate submission, insurance documentation, and compliance with applicable bonding and construction requirements. The project is non-federally funded.
