Description
Olmsted County is soliciting bids to replace the original controls for a paralleling main switchboard. The replacement controls must remain functionally similar to the existing control scheme while integrating with a human-machine interface and the existing generator controls. The project is intended to simplify system operation and improve reliability and safety through automatic controls. The bid package includes the scope of work, existing-controls shop drawings, generator records, paralleling low-voltage switchgear specifications, terms and conditions, withholding forms, insurance and bond requirements, project photographs, and a payment and performance bond form. The online bid requires acknowledgments of the specifications, proposed work schedule, questions and addenda, terms and conditions, Minnesota debarment status, responsible-contractor compliance, shipping costs, sales-tax treatment, subcontractors, and bid-withdrawal terms, along with a base bid price.
