Description
Vancouver Community College is seeking a secure, cloud-based software-as-a-service dental practice management solution supporting both a live teaching dental clinic and segregated student training environments. Required functionality includes patient scheduling and electronic health records, clinical charting, treatment planning, billing and fee management, reporting, audit trails, role-based access, electronic signatures, student training workspaces, instructor monitoring, and separation of live patient data from training data. The selected proponent will provide discovery, configuration, data migration from Power Practice and DEXIS, deployment, integration with DEXIS, Microsoft Entra ID, and applicable dental equipment, training, go-live support, hosting, technical support, maintenance, updates, and security patches. Mandatory requirements include Canadian data storage and processing, compliance with British Columbia's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, encryption in transit and at rest, at least 99.9% uptime, sixteen-year adult patient-record retention, and continued VCC access to its data upon termination. The agreement is for three years with an option to extend for up to two additional years, and the five-year aggregate budget is up to $250,000.
