Description
The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is soliciting offers for rehabilitation of the technical building intended to house the Diego Suarez upper-air observation station. The single-lot construction work includes demolition and preparatory work; reinforced-concrete structural repairs; masonry, roofing, ceilings, doors, windows, glazing, flooring, painting, plumbing, sanitation, stormwater drainage, perimeter fencing, a sliding gate, and a guardhouse. The scope also includes electrical installation, certified ATEX electrical equipment and lighting for hydrogen-related classified zones, grounding and lightning protection, ventilation, hydrogen-leak detection, emergency gas shutoff, fire extinguishers, safety signage, water-storage tanks, a booster pump, and water-distribution piping. Offers must be submitted through the UNDP Quantum supplier portal. The submission deadline is November 9, 2026, at 05:00 New York time. The recommended site visit is non-mandatory; its date, time, and meeting point will be communicated through the portal. Prices must be stated as amounts without specifying tax treatment.
