The Province of British Columbia, through the BC Timber Sales Okanagan-Columbia Business Area, is offering Timber Sale Licence TA1751 for the harvesting of approximately 27,049 cubic metres of coniferous timber in the Currie Severide area of the North Zone. The estimated area is 92.3 hectares, with species including Spruce, Balsam, Hemlock, Douglas Fir, Larch, Western Red Cedar, White Pine, and Lodgepole Pine. The licence term is 24 months, and the upset stumpage rate is $18.23 per cubic metre. Bidders must be registered as BC Timber Sales enterprises in Category 1, 4, or 5. The successful applicant will be required to comply with the BC Timber Sales Environmental Management System and the Sustainable Forestry Initiative standards. Tenders are due by September 9, 2026, and must be submitted electronically via BC Bid or by hard copy to the specified location.
