Description
The U.S. Coast Guard, Surface Forces Logistics Center is soliciting quotes for firm-fixed-price purchase orders for commercial crane services. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, equipment, transportation, materials, rigging, and qualified personnel necessary to safely conduct government-directed lifting operations. This includes furnishing a certified crane of adequate capacity, certified operators, qualified riggers, and signal persons. The contractor must remain on-site and available throughout the period of performance to execute multiple lifts as directed by the Government, with the number of lifts not predetermined and based solely on operational requirements. Services include mobilization, crane setup, execution of lifts, repositioning of equipment, and demobilization. The contractor must submit a crane lift plan, current crane inspection and certification documentation, operator/rigger/signal person qualifications, rigging equipment inspection records, and proof of insurance. All lifting operations must be performed safely and professionally in accordance with the approved lift plan and applicable industry standards. The place of performance is USCG STA Apra Harbor, PSC 455 Box 176, Apra Harbor, Guam.
