Description
Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 seeks proposals to expand its existing Wide Area Network for consortium members. The scope includes leased lit fiber (including optical wavelength services), leased dark fiber, supporting network equipment, and maintenance and operations. The Form 470 lists 59 leased lit fiber services, 59 dark fiber strands, 734 network equipment units, and 25 maintenance and operations services; installation and initial configuration are indicated for the listed service requests. The solicitation includes a mandatory vendor meeting and requires vendors to register in advance. Proposals must be emailed, with a courtesy copy to a second contact; one hard copy of documents bearing physical embossed notarizations must also be delivered by the deadline. Addendum 2 clarifies that five years of equipment support coverage are sought for specified equipment and instructs vendors to identify functionally equivalent replacement models where applicable.
