The Hackettstown Municipal Utilities Authority (MUA) has a need to retain the professional services of a Counselor. This contract is being awarded on a non-fair and open basis, as permitted by N.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5, allowing for the retention of professional services without public bidding under N.J.S.A. 40:A-11-5. The firm Broscious, Fischer & Zaiter has been authorized to provide legal services as the Authority's Counselor. Their appointment is based on their proposal dated January 16, 2026. The term of this appointment is set to conclude on February 9, 2027, or until a successor has been appointed and qualified. This Resolution was adopted by the Board Members of the Hackettstown MUA on February 10, 2026.
