Description
The Province of British Columbia, through BC Timber Sales Cariboo-Chilcotin Business Area, is offering Timber Sale Licence TA3090 for competitive bidding. The licence covers approximately 83,136 m3 of timber (more or less) over an area of 169.1 hectares in the Hen Ingram geographic location. The estimated species mix includes Balsam, Western Red Cedar, Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Lodgepole Pine, Spruce, Aspen, Birch, and Cottonwood. The licence term is 3 years, with an upset stumpage rate of $64.38/m3. Bidders must be registered as BC Timber Sales enterprises in Category 1 (Market) or Category 4 (Value-added). The successful bidder will be required to implement the BC Timber Sales Environmental Management System and conform to the Sustainable Forestry Initiative standard. Additionally, the bidder must submit a conformance certificate signed by a Forest Professional confirming that primary forest activities are consistent with the applicable Forest Stewardship Plan. Safety certification (e.g., SAFE Companies) is required for those directing workers. The auction is bonus bid/scale-based, with the highest bonus bid winning.
