The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting firm-fixed-price delivery of five custom carbon-steel ultrasonic-testing box weld specimens: two PROP3 specimens and three PROP4 specimens. Each specimen consists of a 0.50-inch-thick by 8-inch by 10-inch base with three 0.50-inch-thick by 4-inch by 8-inch attachments, five joints per specimen, and a mix of single-V and double-V configurations identified as C2V.5, C2V.2, T2V.1, T2V.2, and B2V.1. Welding must use shielded metal arc welding and gas tungsten arc welding. Shipping is also included as a separately priced line item. The contractor must provide certificates of conformance and traceable objective quality evidence documenting chemical and mechanical test results, applicable material specifications and revisions, and heat, lot, and code traceability. Offers must provide the exact requested items, meet the required delivery date, and include the requested pricing, delivery schedule, business-size and registration information. The procurement is a total small-business set-aside and will be evaluated on technical capability, price, and delivery, with award to the lowest-priced technically acceptable offeror.
