Description
SUNY Westchester Community College seeks a contractor to remove and dispose of up to 30 designated trees at its Valhalla campus. Addendum No. 1 identifies 14 trees marked for removal and requires pricing for an additional 16 trees, categorized as 15 trees measuring 8–16 inches DBH, 10 trees measuring 17–24 inches DBH, and 5 trees measuring 24 inches DBH or greater. The pricing schedule requires separate labor, materials, and a $5,000 miscellaneous additional expense allowance, with a total lump-sum price. The contractor must provide labor, supervision, equipment, materials, transportation, debris handling, site protection, safety controls, and cleanup. Optional stump grinding and special-condition pricing remain part of the requested pricing structure where applicable. The submission must include the completed RFQ and updated pricing page, a signed proposal, relevant qualifications, references when applicable, and proof of required insurance. Prevailing-wage requirements apply. Bids must be submitted by mail or in-person delivery to the Physical Plant Department by the stated deadline, with the required vendor information, signature, bid number, and due date marked on the sealed envelope.
