Description
Esmeralda County Libraries is soliciting proposals for Internet access and data transmission service for the Goldfield Public Library Branch. Bidders must offer incremental bandwidth options of 40 Mbps, 50 Mbps, and 100 Mbps, with service or infrastructure terminating at the building’s demarcation point, generally the main distribution frame. Solutions may not cap data usage or throttle speeds based on usage or other factors. Proposals must identify all monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, and special construction charges, with no undisclosed additional charges. Vendors must offer SPI discount billing, comply with applicable E-Rate requirements including lowest corresponding pricing, and certify that proposed services and equipment comply with applicable supply-chain security restrictions. Month-to-month and contracted services will be considered; contracted-service proposals should include 36- and 60-month pricing. Services are needed effective July 1, 2027, and contracts should permit bandwidth increases, early termination if a library location closes, and no price increases during the contract term.
