Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is soliciting five cases of fruit-punch-flavored oral rehydration salts for oral solution. Each case must contain 100 packets, with each 21-gram packet providing sodium, potassium, chloride, citrate, magnesium, zinc, carbohydrates, and 65 calories. The product is intended to treat and prevent dehydration and requires reconstitution with water. The item must meet a 60-month, extendable shelf-life requirement, FDA-related regulatory requirements, domestic-material restrictions where applicable, and specified commercial packaging, medical marking, palletization, and shipment requirements. Delivery is required within five days after award, FOB destination, with destination inspection and acceptance.
