Description
The City of Salem is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors to provide on-demand roadway painting, pavement striping, and pavement marking services on an as-needed basis. Work may include new installation, restriping, maintenance, and related services for City streets, parking lots, trails, and other City-owned paved areas. Contractors must provide supervision, labor, tools, materials, equipment, transportation, documentation, site visits, inspections, cleanup, and related project support. Individual projects will be authorized through purchase agreements using fixed-price, unit-price, or time-and-materials pricing, and no individual project may exceed $500,000. The City intends to make multiple awards for one-year contracts with four additional one-year renewal options. There is no guaranteed minimum or maximum workload. Proposals must demonstrate relevant experience, provide at least three similar project examples and four references, describe the service methodology and available resources, identify subcontractors, provide required licenses and certifications, complete the Price Proposal and Offeror Certifications attachments, and address cooperative use by other public bodies. Contractors must hold the appropriate Virginia contractor license class and maintain specified insurance coverage during performance.
