Description
Buffalo Public Schools is seeking parts and pricing for its 2027 Network Switch Refresh Project. The procurement will replace aging Extreme Networks access and closet switching infrastructure with a standardized Fortinet FortiSwitch architecture. Requested items include FortiSwitch 348G-FPOE and 1024E equipment, FortiCare Premium and Essential support, direct-attach cables, long-range SFP+ transceivers, and related items. Products must be new and authentic manufacturer products, or approved equivalents, and bidders must provide manufacturer part numbers, descriptions, quantities, pricing, delivery lead time, and any authorization or support-entitlement requirements. The project will standardize switch models, operating code, configuration, and management; integrate the new access switches with the district’s existing FortiGate/FortiSwitch infrastructure; support automated configuration and firmware deployment; and comply with E-Rate program requirements. Installation labor and disposal services are not requested unless added by formal addendum. Price is the basis of award, and the award may not be split among respondents. The submission package includes a required bid-table response, offering questionnaire, signed non-collusive bidding certification, insurance certificate, completed equal opportunity form, and references; manufacturer product data sheets are optional.
