Description
The U.S. Department of State is seeking a qualified contractor to provide swimming pool maintenance at three U.S. Embassy Kingston residential facilities: Powell Plaza Residential Facility, the Chief of Mission Residence, and the Deputy Chief of Mission Residence. The contractor must furnish all labor, supervision, vehicles, equipment, tools, transportation, supplies, materials, chemicals, and personal protective equipment. Services include twice-weekly pool visits, brushing and vacuuming pool surfaces, skimming debris, cleaning and servicing pumps, filters, strainers, skimmer baskets, overflow systems, decking, and coping; maintaining water circulation and levels; testing and balancing chlorine, pH, alkalinity, calcium hardness, and cyanuric acid; controlling algae and disinfection; maintaining safety equipment; recording test results; and promptly reporting deficiencies. The contractor must submit a detailed maintenance procedure, chemical safety data sheets, a quality control plan, relevant experience and references, equipment and resource information, a technical approach, and required representations and certifications. The base period is 12 months from the Notice to Proceed, with possible extensions up to a total contract duration of five years.
