Description
The U.S. State Department's Office to Monitor and Combat Trafficking in Persons (TIP Office) intends to award cooperative agreements to organizations for projects focused on reducing human trafficking. These projects will utilize Intervention Development Research (IDR) to conduct research and pilot targeted programming. The goal is to measurably and substantially reduce the prevalence of human trafficking in partner countries through innovative interventions driven by research, monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Projects will employ rigorous research methods, including prevalence measurement, strong monitoring and evaluation, evidence-based programming, and survivor-centered and trauma-informed approaches. Local partnerships and co-creation methods are core elements, requiring active participation from local actors throughout all project phases. The TIP Office anticipates releasing a Notice of Funding Opportunity in the coming months. Eligibility is open to any commercial, international, educational, or non-profit organization. Applicants must have a valid Unique Entity Identifier (UEI) and a full active registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) upon award. Past experience with U.S. Department of State agreements is not a prerequisite for eligibility.
