Description
The District of Summerland is seeking proposals for insurance brokerage and risk advisory services. The selected respondent will be expected to provide these services from the date of award until August 15, 2029, covering pre-placement activities and three policy years. The District also holds an option to extend the agreement for up to two additional policy years under the same terms and conditions. To be considered, proposals must be submitted through the bids&tenders online platform by the closing date and time. Mandatory criteria include timely submission, adherence to Section 3.8 - Submission of Proposals, and inclusion of all requirements listed in Appendix C - Submission Requirements. Prior to commencing work, the supplier must provide proof of a valid business license, a WorkSafeBC Clearance Letter (or equivalent), Commercial General Liability Insurance, Professional Errors and Omissions Insurance, and appropriate licenses from the Insurance Council of British Columbia. This procurement may be subject to the Canada-EU Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement, the Canadian Free Trade Agreement, and the New West Partnership Trade Agreement.
