Description
The contractor will manage a two-phase, turnkey irrigation project. Phase one involves separating and relocating two seven-tower linear pivots from a site in the County of Forty Mile to three field locations in the County of Newell near Brooks, reconfiguring them across six fields, and providing generators, electrical panels, and guidance systems for the new installations. Phase two involves removing approximately 700 metres of existing mainline and electrical service; installing approximately 350 metres of new mainline and approximately 350 metres of new power service from the pumphouse to a new pivot pad; installing new electrical panels and a variable-frequency drive; and supplying and installing a low-pressure centre pivot and sprinkler package rated for at least 1,000 gallons per minute. The new centre pivot must include GPS guidance and remote operation capability. The contractor must manage and maintain the project, coordinate with designated stakeholders, and complete all work after the 2026 harvest and before 2027 seeding so the fields are operational for the 2027 season.
