Description
The State of Utah is seeking a single contractor to provide statewide rental, installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of oxygen concentrators for eligible Utah Medicaid members. The scope includes associated equipment and supplies such as backup and portable oxygen, humidifiers, cannulas, masks, tubing, racks, carts, and other medically necessary respiratory equipment ordered by a practitioner. Separately reportable devices may include ventilators, CPAP and BiPAP systems, pulse oximeters, and related supplies. The contractor must provide 24-hour telephone support, urgent placement or replacement within six hours, backup oxygen sufficient for at least three times the anticipated response time, licensed CRTT or RRT staffing, Medicaid eligibility verification and claims processing, member education, equipment maintenance and documentation, quarterly performance reporting, incident reporting, and statewide service coverage. Proposals are evaluated on mandatory requirements, technical criteria, and separately submitted cost proposals. The contract term is five years, with pricing guaranteed for one year.
