Description
The District School Board of Niagara (DSBN) is seeking to pre-qualify suppliers for library supplies, equipment, and furnishings. This pre-qualification aims to establish a list of record suppliers for low-dollar value and repetitive purchases. The contract is expected to commence around January 15, 2022, with an initial term ending December 31, 2022, and consideration for four additional one-year renewal periods through December 31, 2026. Suppliers can submit proposals at any time during the contract duration. The scope of supplies, equipment, and furnishings may include, but is not limited to, archival supplies, book repair materials, book trucks, circulation supplies, security supplies, shelf organization items, signage, display units, shelving, and cabinets. While furniture and IT equipment are currently under separate agreements, other items within these categories may also be required. The DSBN reserves the right to obtain quotes from multiple pre-qualified suppliers or to select a supplier at their discretion without further quotes. Individual schools will make purchases based on "best fit" from the pre-qualified supplier list. The DSBN serves approximately 36,000 students across 99 schools and multiple administrative centers within the Niagara Region. The procurement process adheres to the Broader Public Sector Directives and applicable trade agreements such as CETA and CFTA.
