Description
The City seeks five new Type I ambulance bodies to be manufactured, mounted on City-supplied Freightliner M2 chassis, tested, and delivered. The scope includes engineering drawings and approvals, required patient-care and vehicle systems, graphics, turnkey travel for City representatives to attend factory meetings and inspections, and final inspection and acceptance. Proposals must include a firm fixed price, proposed delivery schedule, and requested technical, qualification, customer-service, warranty, and pricing information. The solicitation requires a 100% performance bond after contract execution and specifies insurance coverage. Proposals will be evaluated on technical compliance, experience, service and warranty support, and cost.
