Description
Tonopah Library District is soliciting proposals for dedicated, synchronous Internet access in 100 Mbps increments from 100 Mbps through 300 Mbps for its library at 167 S. Central Street, Tonopah, Nevada. Proposed service must provide at least the minimum committed information rate, may not impose data caps or usage-based speed reductions, and must terminate at the building's demarcation point, generally the main distribution frame. The proposal must identify monthly recurring charges, non-recurring charges, applicable taxes and surcharges, the provider's SPIN, and terms and conditions. SPI discount billing is mandatory. The Library will consider month-to-month and contracted services, requests 36- and 60-month pricing for contracted service, and requires service effective July 1, 2027. Contracts should permit bandwidth increases, allow penalty-free termination if a location closes, and prohibit price increases during the contract term. Proposals must comply with applicable E-Rate requirements, including the lowest corresponding price requirement and restrictions on covered telecommunications equipment and services.
