Description
The Greater Nashville Regional Council is seeking one firm or consultant team to develop a regional master plan for greenways and multi-use paths in Middle Tennessee. The plan must define a connected, region-wide network; identify priority connections and spine corridors; assess needs, gaps, feasibility, environmental constraints, and planning-level costs; and provide maps, visualizations, and a regional GIS geodatabase. The consultant will also develop stakeholder-engagement and implementation strategies covering governance, design guidance, funding and financing, operations and maintenance, safety, programming, asset management, and long-term revenue. Required deliverables include technical reports, an action plan, draft and final reports, website content, board and stakeholder briefing materials, and related project-management documentation. The anticipated study duration is 12 to 18 months, with final deliverables completed within an 18-month period. The budget is $350,000 in combined federal metropolitan planning grants and non-federal matching funds.
