Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a contractor to repair and reconstruct the loading dock platform and stairs. Work includes demolishing damaged concrete, removing deteriorated reinforcing steel, forming and rebuilding the platform, treads, and risers, installing steel dowels and reinforcement, and placing 3,500 PSI concrete. The contractor must also reinstall safety bumpers, apply yellow safety markings, broom-finish and seal the concrete, and remove debris. Labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision, and compliance with VA and OSHA safety requirements are included. The work is expected to take approximately 90 days.
