Description
This Request for Information (RFI) seeks market research on commercial solutions and qualified sources for two MH-60T aviation maintenance training devices: a Maintenance Training Unit (MTU) and a Hot Mock Up (HMU). The MTU must allow instructors to induce maintenance discrepancies; the HMU must simulate selected cockpit systems and flight operations, induce faults that manifest as they would in an operational aircraft, and allow students to locate active wiring faults using a standard multimeter. Both devices are intended to support concurrent training courses, with deployment and installation at the Aviation Technical Training Center. Respondents are asked to describe their technical and corporate capabilities, relevant aviation training-device experience, data-rights positions, acquisition and contract-vehicle recommendations, government-furnished information or equipment needs, and general feedback on technical risks and acquisition structure. A nonbinding rough-order-of-magnitude cost estimate is also requested. This is a market-research notice, not a request for proposals or quotations; responses are voluntary and will not constitute binding offers.
