Description
The Gulf Coast Veterans Health Care System is seeking one OsmoPro Max osmometer to replace aging equipment. The instrument must measure osmolality using freezing-point methodology, process multiple samples, read specimen barcodes, automatically aspirate and dispense samples, and produce results within three minutes. It must accommodate specified sample tube sizes and include start-up reagents and a consumable kit bundle. The requirement also includes on-site installation, setup, training, and validation, including serum and urine method comparisons, precision and accuracy studies, control studies to establish ranges, linearity studies, and a comprehensive validation summary report meeting CAP and CLIA requirements. The requested support includes a four-year service agreement with annual on-site preventive maintenance, on-site repairs and covered repair parts, unlimited phone support, and a loaner instrument when on-site repair is not possible. A manufacturer warranty is requested for the first year. This is a sources-sought notice and notice of intent to sole source, not a solicitation for competitive quotes or proposals.
