Description
Ione School District is soliciting proposals for a fully managed, leased lit fiber transport circuit connecting the new Del LaRue Sports Complex to the District’s wide area network. The service must provide dedicated symmetrical bandwidth beginning at 1 Gbps and scalable to 10 Gbps, with service-level commitments for availability, packet loss, latency, jitter, outage response, and restoration. Proposals may use traditional or alternative network designs and must include logical network diagrams, detailed geographic fiber pathway maps, demarcation details, ownership and subcontractor disclosures, and implementation timelines. The scope may include special construction, design and engineering, project management, permitting, fiber installation, conduit, handholes, splicing, terminations, restoration, labeling, and as-built documentation. Pricing is requested for three-year and five-year service terms, with five optional one-year voluntary extensions. Respondents must provide a service-level agreement, sample contract, three relevant customer references from the last five years, and the specified cost, construction, proposer-information, responsibility, and disadvantaged-business documentation. Proposals must be submitted electronically by email in the permitted formats, with the combined proposal and coversheet limited to 50 MB; marketing material is discouraged and proposals must include an authorized representative’s signature.
