Description
The City seeks a contractor to supply and install emergency and operational equipment for ten police vehicles: eight Dodge Durangos and two Ford F-150s. The Durangos include six single-cell vehicles, one full-cell vehicle, and one K9 vehicle; the specifications include emergency lighting and sirens, communications and electrical equipment, partitions, consoles, ballistic door panels, and K9 transport equipment. The F-150 specifications include lighting, a push bumper, console and computer-mount equipment, prisoner-compartment components, gun racks, and a commercial cap. Installation includes wiring, fabrication, mounting, and making the vehicles ready for field use. Proposals must cover the full scope and include the completed fee schedule, a non-collusion statement, proof of active SAM.gov registration, a W-9, and a subcontractor campaign contribution acknowledgment if subcontractors are used. The contract is anticipated to run for five years, with vehicle quantities and configurations potentially varying over the term. The solicitation also requires prevailing wages and specifies insurance requirements in the sample agreement.
