Description
The Oklahoma Commissioners of the Land Office is conducting public auctions for agricultural leases covering pasture and crop land. Each lease is awarded, subject to CLO approval, to the bidder offering the highest annual cash rental, provided the bid meets the advertised minimum. CLO may reject bids, require financial disclosures and creditworthiness verification, and disqualify bidders who are in default under another CLO lease or provide inaccurate information. Successful bidders must pay 50% of the first year's rent as a deposit on the auction date; bids of $500 or less must be paid in full. Lease terms are specified in the applicable auction notice and lease. Lessees must comply with entity-registration, identification, agricultural, conservation, crop-holdover, property-inspection, and surrender requirements. By submitting a bid, the bidder accepts the stated lease terms, which will be incorporated into the lease.
