Description
Humble Independent School District is establishing an approved-vendor pool for recurring, as-needed transportation fleet repairs, maintenance, towing, inspections, parts, equipment, and related services. The scope covers school buses; passenger vehicles, vans, SUVs, and pickup trucks; utility and service trucks; box and refrigerated trucks; and other transportation equipment. Requested capabilities include mechanical repairs, preventive maintenance, tires and alignments, brakes, air-conditioning and refrigeration, electrical systems, towing, collision and body repair, refinishing and painting, floor replacement, and related supplies and products. Vendors may respond for applicable service categories and must provide pricing, service capabilities, manufacturer coverage, turnaround times, warranties, and required certifications or licenses. The district intends to award multiple vendors, with work issued on an as-needed basis and no guaranteed volume. Responses must include the required online attributes and line-item pricing, Form 1295, the completed W-9, current customer references, and applicable certifications, licenses, paint-booth documentation, technician credentials, and warranty documentation. Services performed on district premises or involving district vehicles are subject to insurance, safety, background-check, and school-site requirements.
