Description
The City of Tallulah is soliciting proposals from qualified certified public accounting firms to audit its General, Water, Utility (Sewer), Street, Section 8, and supplemental Housing Authority funds for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2026, and June 30, 2027. The work must comply with generally accepted auditing standards and the federal Single Audit Act, and includes Louisiana statewide agreed-upon procedures. The selected auditor will prepare the City's financial statements, notes, combining fund statements and schedules, required supplementary information, and applicable federal award and internal-control reports. The proposal must include a title page and table of contents, transmittal letter, technical proposal, qualifications and staff information, relevant governmental audit experience, similar engagements, audit methodology, and a cost proposal for each contract year. Final signed reports are due to the City and the State of Louisiana before December 31 of each contract year, with an electronic copy provided to the City. Subcontracting is permitted if fully identified in the proposal.
