Description
The Trustees of the California State University are soliciting electronic sealed bid proposals from prequalified contractors for four General Contracting Job Order Contracts (JOCs). These are competitively bid, firm-fixed-price, indefinite quantity contracts. The scope of work includes detailed repair and construction tasks with established unit prices, covering repair, alteration, modernization, maintenance, rehabilitation, demolition, and construction of infrastructure, buildings, structures, or other real property. The University will issue discrete, fixed-price task or job orders as needed under these contracts. Each individual JOC agreement will have a minimum total contract value of $0.00 and a maximum total contract value of $500,000.00, with the ability to extend up to $3,000,000.00. The contract term will not exceed 365 days from the Notice to Proceed unless the maximum value is achieved sooner. Bidders must be prequalified with the Trustees and registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). Small businesses will receive a five percent bid advantage, and a 3% DVBE participation is required, with incentives for higher participation.
