Description
Jackson County Intermediate School District, on behalf of Hillsdale County Intermediate School District, seeks a vendor to replace an existing copper connection with a single-mode fiber link serving a multi-building campus. The work includes engineering and installing the fiber pathway, cabling, terminations, and related components; testing and acceptance; and removal of the existing copper cable after cutover. Pricing must include all labor, materials, equipment, and pathway contingencies, including an alternative conduit route if existing conduit is unusable. The proposal must include hardware specifications, solution schematics, vendor quotes, an itemized hardware list, a project timeline, required compliance and agreement forms, a vendor SPIN number, three references, and a completed cost analysis/bid sheet. The selected vendor must provide as-built mapping, installation photographs, test results and raw OTDR data, and warranty documentation at closeout. A vendor site visit is required, and the RFP specifies insurance coverage requirements.
