This is a Sources Sought Notice for information and planning purposes only, not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), VISN 4, Network Contracting Office 4 (NCO 4), Commodities 1, is seeking information on potential qualified domestic sources capable of providing six AR-15 style rifles and updated accessories for the Coatesville VAPolice Department. The rifles must meet specific salient characteristics, including details on the upper receiver, bolt carrier group, lower receiver, barrel, and gas system, adhering to MIL-SPEC standards where applicable. The items will be delivered to the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center Police located at 3900 Woodland Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Responses should include company information, size status, brand/model/part number of proposed products, anticipated delivery lead time, manufacturer/distributor status, country of manufacture, pricing, capabilities related to salient characteristics, information on recalls or defects, quality assurance processes, and feedback on the salient characteristics for maximum competition.
