Description
The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is requesting quotations for a new medical air compressor system for the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System. The firm-fixed-price supply order requires a 10-horsepower, base-mounted triplex oil-less scroll compressor system with a single-point connection, 200-gallon noncorrosive vertical receiver, 460/3/60 electrical connection, 69.6 SCFM capacity at 50 psig and 64.0 SCFM at 100 psig, dual desiccant dryers with pre-filters, after-filters and regulators, dew-point and carbon-monoxide monitoring, and an HMI touch-screen control panel. The system must comply with the latest edition of NFPA 99 and include an ASME-coded corrosion-resistant receiver, isolation valves, ASTM B-819 copper tubing, brass or stainless-steel fittings, braided 304 stainless-steel flex connectors, liquid-tight conduit, junction boxes, and components that are pre-piped, pre-wired, and operationally tested before shipment. The contractor must provide manufacturer data, literature, and installation, operation, and maintenance instructions with the quotation. Delivery must be scheduled 24 hours in advance and is generally required Monday through Friday during normal operating hours.
