Description
The Florida Department of Health is soliciting janitorial services for three Citrus County health department buildings: daily cleaning of offices, restrooms, breakrooms, lobbies, public areas, floors, sidewalks, entrances, parking areas, and exterior areas; weekly, monthly, quarterly, and semiannual cleaning tasks; trash removal; replenishment of paper products and soap; carpet steam cleaning; and related reporting. The contractor must provide all cleaning supplies, consumables, equipment, staff identification, safety data sheets, and fidelity bonding for janitorial staff. Porter services may also be requested on an as-needed basis, including post-emergency cleaning of sheltering equipment. Services are to be performed after 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, except state holidays. The initial contract term is three years, beginning February 1, 2027, or the later contract execution date, with up to three additional renewal years. The award will be made to the responsive, responsible bidder offering the lowest grand total.
