Description
Dade County seeks a qualified consultant to conduct Phase 3 of a historic resources survey covering an estimated 468 parcels, or as many as funding allows, in unincorporated southern and western areas of the county, including the Rising Fawn community. The work includes researching and documenting historic resources constructed through 1986, entering survey data and recent digital photographs into Georgia’s GNAHRGIS database, and preparing a survey-area map at a specified scale. The consultant must meet the Secretary of the Interior’s Professional Qualification Standards and demonstrate relevant architectural history, historic survey, research, writing, Georgia historic-resource documentation, and digital photography experience. The final report must include an executive summary, project description, preservation history and context, methodology, recommendations, survey results and architectural analysis, and appendices with resource identifiers and maps. The scope also calls for printed resource forms and electronic and hard-copy report and map deliverables. Work must follow applicable federal preservation standards and the stated review schedule.
