Description
The University of Manitoba seeks a qualified contractor to develop design and architectural metal-fabrication shop drawings, fabricate, supply, and install approximately 1,047 square feet of aluminum greenhouse shelving across 10 science-greenhouse rooms. The shelving must use breathable stretched or rolled mesh with a solid or reinforced frame, support potted plants and small aquariums weighing approximately 2 to 45 pounds, permit access to plumbing below, and reuse or reinforce the existing base structure where practical. The scope includes coordination with university representatives, review of existing documentation and site conditions, delivery to the university destination with freight and applicable customs/import costs included, unloading, uncrating, cleanup, removal of packing materials, and installation. Shop drawings are required within two weeks of award. Bidders must complete and submit Attachments A through E: Specification of Requirements, Bid Form, Price Summary, Insurance Requirements, and Warranty. The quotation must be submitted electronically through the Euna Procurement Submission Portal, and the bid must remain valid for 60 days. Bidders must monitor the portal for addenda and acknowledge all addenda on the bid form; failure to do so may result in rejection. Addendum 1 establishes an optional, highly recommended site tour on October 5, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. Winnipeg time, outside 46A Sifton Road, Fort Garry Campus.
