Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is seeking 180 annular ball bearings, NSN 3110-01-240-8944, part number 110701-1, under purchase request 7017742784. The requirement is for a source-controlled item manufactured and tested in accordance with the cited technical data; vendors must have access to the applicable data or provide traceability to approved sources. The bearings must satisfy domestic sourcing restrictions, including the requirement that the bearing be manufactured in the United States, its outlying areas, or Canada and that more than 50% of the bearing-component cost be manufactured in those locations. The supply requirement includes origin inspection, quality and packaging requirements, a 48-month extendable shelf-life requirement, physical identification and bare-item marking, and delivery FOB origin within 128 days after order. Packaging must comply with the specified military standards, including MIL-STD-2073-1E, MIL-STD-129, and MIL-DTL-197M. Quotes must be submitted through the DLA Internet Bid Board System by the stated return date.
