Description
The City seeks electrical and automation services for 12 Wartsila 18V50SG generating units. Work includes corrective and preventive repairs to plant electrical and automation systems; programming, commissioning, and testing; 24/7 remote troubleshooting and control-system support; and field inspections and troubleshooting of engine control, safety, and emissions systems. The contractor may also source parts and materials for repairs and must respond with available personnel within one week of notice, provide a service offer and estimated start date within one week, and complete repairs within five weeks of evaluation unless otherwise agreed. The proposal must address company experience, equipment and systems serviced, parts fulfillment, logistics, inspection and quality control, safety and compliance, assessment and documentation, repair plans and timelines, parts acquisition and installation, and warranties. The City requires at least three years of similar experience and three references. The respondent must be an OEM-authorized distributor and provide supporting authorization documentation. The contract is for one year with four one-year renewal options and may be extended by up to six additional months. The City evaluates timeliness, compliance and quality, probable performance, and price.
