Description
The Brunswick-Glynn Joint Water and Sewer Commission is soliciting sealed bids for construction services to rehabilitate gravity sewer mains in Basins 4001 and 4013 using cured-in-place pipe (CIPP). The scope includes approximately 660 linear feet of 6-inch sewer main, 26,115 linear feet of 8-inch sewer main, and 412 linear feet of 12-inch sewer main, along with mobilization, bypass pumping, traffic control, pre- and post-cleaning CCTV inspection, CIPP installation, service connection reinstatement, heavy sewer cleaning, deposit and root cutting, lateral cutting, open-cut point repairs, and flowable fill. The work must include required documentation, acceptance testing, final inspection, and a one-year warranty. Bidders must submit the complete work on the provided bid form, qualification information with at least three similar sewer rehabilitation references completed within the last five years, applicable Georgia E-Verify affidavits, a Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit, any issued addenda, and required utility contractor license documentation. The contract time is estimated at no more than 300 calendar days, with liquidated damages of $1,000 per calendar day. A bid bond or certified cashier's check of at least 5% of the base bid is required; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
