Rockland County is seeking an engineering consulting firm to prepare a comprehensive Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure Study. The work includes assessing the County’s vehicle fleet; evaluating potential charging-infrastructure installations; reviewing existing building electrical systems and available load capacity; analyzing installation costs; evaluating the transition from gasoline-powered vehicles to electric propulsion; and identifying associated equipment and facility improvements needed to support electrification. The contract term is 150 calendar days. A pre-proposal meeting is scheduled for October 15, 2026, at the Facilities Division in Pomona, New York. No solicitation documents were uploaded with the public notice, and the notice does not identify any substantially similar procurement awarded within the past five years.
