Description
The Village of Morganza is soliciting sealed bids for the incorporation of Water Well No. 2 into its water system under the FY 2024 Louisiana Community Development Block Grant. The work includes rehabilitating the existing well, abandoning Water Well No. 1, installing a generator for Well No. 2, modifying the existing chlorine-feed system, constructing a bypass at the ground storage tank, installing approximately 2,800 linear feet of six-inch raw water main, and completing associated appurtenances. Bidders must submit bid security of at least five percent of the total bid price. The successful bidder must furnish 100% performance and payment bonds, comply with applicable federal and state labor, nondiscrimination, Section 3, Davis-Bacon, Build America Buy America, and insurance requirements, and maintain an active UEI and SAM registration before award. The procurement is a re-bid and documents include the bid form, contract agreement, bond forms, drawings, and specifications.
