Description
The Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB requires a Dolphitech Matrix Array Ultrasonic Testing (MAUT) Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) system. The system must be a portable, battery-operable, integrated unit with hardware and software from a single manufacturer. Key technical requirements include a non-multiplexed, fully parallel instrument architecture capable of simultaneously driving and acquiring data from a minimum of 16,384 (128x128 matrix) individual transducer elements. The system must perform real-time Full Matrix Capture (FMC) and Total Focusing Method (TFM) processing using the full aperture data. It should generate high-fidelity C-scan, B-scan, D-scan, and 3D volumetric images in real-time with resolution corresponding to the physical element pitch of the transducers. The system must also demonstrate high data throughput. The system includes two True 2D Matrix Array transducers: one 5.0 MHz and one 10.0 MHz, each with a 128x128 element matrix. The supplier must provide documented proof of system integration and optimized operation. The system must demonstrate artifact-free acoustic imaging. Deliverables include the MAUT instrument, both transducers, all necessary software licenses, cables, power supply, and a rugged transport case. Training at Tinker AFB is also required. This is a small business set-aside.
