Description
The City of Calgary is soliciting proposals from approved prequalified prime contractors in the Buildings General Contractor category C7400200 to deliver the main construction package for a new light rail transit maintenance and storage facility. The facility is part of the Green Line LRT southeast project, which will run from Shepard in the southeast to the Event Centre/Grand Central Station in the north. The approximately 30-hectare facility site is west of 52 Street SE and north of 126 Avenue SE, immediately south of Deerfoot Solar Park. The estimated contract period is 33 months, with a proposed start date of January 11, 2027. The opportunity uses selective competitive tendering and is limited to eligible prequalified prime contractors.
