Description
New Brunswick Power is requesting quotes for as-required collection, transportation, treatment, and disposal of waste generated by maintenance, dam safety, investigative drilling, slot cutting, concrete rehabilitation, and grouting activities at Mactaquac Generating Station. The scope includes drill cuttings, slot cuttings and concrete slurry, hydrocarbon-impacted wastewater, grout wastewater, sediment and sludge, vacuum truck and hydrovac services, operators, pumps, hoses, temporary storage tanks, containment equipment, transportation, manifests, and disposal documentation. The contractor must be able to handle up to 1,000,000 litres per week, respond to emergency requests within 12 hours, and provide a 24/7 emergency contact. The pricing submission includes wastewater hauling and disposal rates, vacuum truck rates, and optional rates for hydrocarbon-impacted wastewater treatment or disposal, dewatered solids disposal, frac tanks, transfer pumps, hoses, and additional labor. Tenderers must provide information on equipment, supervisory personnel, prior experience, proposed treatment and disposal facilities, and applicable facility approvals or permits. The contract term is three years, with up to two successive one-year renewals by mutual written agreement.
