Description
Desert Star Academy is seeking bids for fiber-optic internet access at bandwidths from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps, with pricing in 1 Gbps increments and 1-, 3-, or 5-year contract options. The internet service scope includes installation and activation, network equipment, maintenance and operation, outage reporting and technical support, a service-level agreement, and related construction work such as trenching, conduit installation, fiber splicing, testing, and project management. Longer contract options should allow bandwidth upgrades. Contracts are contingent on E-Rate funding. The opportunity also includes internal-connection cabling and maintenance, racks, switches and associated software or licenses, uninterruptible power supplies and battery backups, and wireless access points and associated software or licenses. Quantities are estimates. Bidders must submit the completed E-Rate Service Provider Bid Response Worksheet with their proposal.
