Description
Mount Saint Vincent University is soliciting proposals for comprehensive winter maintenance services across its campus. The scope includes snow clearing and ice control on roadways and parking areas; shoveling paths, sidewalks, and building entrances; salting and sanding; snow removal when directed; and re-clearing areas affected by plow curls or renewed accumulation. The contractor must be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week during the contract period and have a crew on site within 45 minutes of notification. The contractor must supply and maintain labor, materials, supervision, and equipment, including one backhoe, one skid-steer salter, and one skid-steer loader retained on site from December 1 through April 1. Proposals must include a service-level response, completed submission and pricing forms, two signed customer reference letters for relevant contracts completed or ongoing within the last five years, and a risk-identification response. The agreement is planned for three years, with two optional one-year extensions.
