Description
Dolton Public Library District is soliciting proposals for Category One internet access and data transmission service with bandwidth options from 1 Gbps through 5 Gbps. Pricing is requested for one-, three-, and five-year terms, with upgrades permitted during three- or five-year contracts. The scope includes bandwidth, direct handoff to the library's LAN, special construction and installation, testing and acceptance, project management, SPI invoicing, outage reporting, technical support, and a service-level agreement. The solicitation also requests Category Two firewall service, components, necessary software and licenses, basic maintenance of firewall components, and managed internal broadband services for existing equipment. Pricing must include applicable installation, equipment, software, maintenance, and support costs. Bidders must complete the E-Rate Service Provider Bid Response Worksheet, and contracts are contingent on E-Rate funding. The applicant will communicate amendments and clarifications through the EPC Portal.
